Know Your Rights.
Claim What You Are Owed.
Flight cancellations, 3+ hour delays, involuntary bumping, and mishandled baggage are strictly regulated under global air passenger treaties. AeroJet equips you with clear, statutory entitlement tools and instant claim guidance.
AeroJet is a booking technology platform, not an airline carrier. Under international aviation law (including EU Regulation 261/2004, US DOT 14 CFR, and the Montreal Convention 1999), all operational responsibilities, statutory Duty of Care (food, hotel rooms, airport transfers), baggage handling, and cash compensation obligations rest strictly with the concerned operating airline. AeroJet is not responsible for flight disruptions, cancellations, or lost baggage. All compensation claims, refund demands, and Property Irregularity Reports (PIR) must be filed directly with your operating airline. AeroJet provides certified e-ticket receipts to support your airline claim.

Europe & UK Flight Delay & Cancellation Protections
All flights under 1,500 km (e.g. London to Paris, Amsterdam to Frankfurt) delayed by 3+ hours.
All intra-EU flights over 1,500 km, or non-EU flights between 1,500 km and 3,500 km delayed by 3+ hours.
All flights over 3,500 km (e.g. London to New York, Paris to Tokyo) delayed by 4+ hours (or €300 for 3–4 hrs).
When Are You Eligible?
- • Your flight departed from any airport located inside the European Union or United Kingdom.
- • OR you arrived in the EU/UK on an airline licensed in an EU member state or the UK.
- • You arrived at your final destination 3 hours or more after the scheduled arrival time.
- • Your flight was cancelled less than 14 days before departure without adequate rerouting.
The "Extraordinary Circumstances" Myth
Airlines frequently claim technical issues or crew illness are "extraordinary circumstances." Under binding European Court of Justice case law (e.g., van der Lans v KLM, Wallentin-Hermann), mechanical problems, technical failure, and routine crew shortages are NOT extraordinary circumstances. Airlines must pay full compensation.
What to Do at the Gate Right Now
Stranded at the airport due to a delayed or cancelled flight? Follow this 4-step checklist to ensure your compensation claim is indisputable.
Get Reason in Writing
Ask gate agents for a formal delay/cancellation reason slip. Take a smartphone photo of the departure monitor showing delay minutes.
Preserve All Documents
Keep your original boarding pass stubs, e-ticket confirmations, baggage claim stickers, and airline SMS/email notifications.
Demand Duty of Care
Request meal and drink vouchers from airport representatives. If delayed overnight, demand hotel lodging and free taxi transport.
Retain All Receipts
If the airline refuses vouchers and you pay for food, water, or a hotel room yourself, save itemized receipts (alcohol excluded).
